so there is this guy i really liked for about 2 years but we were friends and one day he was very mean to me in a fight and i stopped talking to him completely after that. yesterdaynight i wrote in my journal how im ovwr him and went to sleep to wake up having a dream about him. the dream was: we were going home after exams and it was a rainy day, we were sitting on the bus, we had some shared glances but i refused to seak to him. then thre was a conversation with little kids on how the american and indian education is very similar regarding portions and he quickly roed me into the conversation and i did side him in the end. now the scene transformed for when we were waiting for another bus to come pick us up, same day and we were sitting under a banyan tree and he was to call his parents but his mom didnt pick the call and the bus driver said, cal your mom again, she has the main number and he says my dad also has the main number , he said something, and i spoke about the love between his parents and he grumbled and said something like love is the last thing between his parents and when i asked him further about it, he rudely asked me to quit doing that, then we had a conversation about the fight that led me to stop talking to him, i said he was never serious about our fights or never really valued me, he never owned his actions and he acted so nonchalant so i frusratedly dropped the topic. then i leaned on him for which he rudely pushed me away and he asked me not to and i embarassedly said it was a tree branch and we left it. 2 minutes later, he asks with a playful smile, his voice coarse in the dream now, our hands brushed, and he said something around the lines of "if i did take u seriously and own our arguements what we'll be?" and i muttered"if u took me seriously and owned arguments we would be something else" and then he softly shared about his cousin brother who was in trouble with the law and then my school bus came and i had to leave so i asked him to call me or text sometime and lest, with one last glance
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts and feelings, and your dream about this person seems to encapsulate unresolved emotions, reflections on your relationship, and perhaps a longing for closure. Here are some potential interpretations of your dream:
Processing Emotions: Your dream likely represents your process of coming to terms with your feelings for this guy. The fact that you wrote in your journal about being over him before going to sleep indicates that your mind is trying to reconcile these emotions. The setting of the dream (rainy day) could symbolize the sadness or difficulty of moving on.
Unresolved Conflict: The dream evokes the unresolved issues stemming from the argument you had. The conversation about your fight indicates that you might still have lingering thoughts about how he treated you and how that has affected your feelings. This illustrates a need to resolve these issues, either by confronting him or by coming to terms with them on your own.
Connection and Disconnection: The moments of shared glances and the brief touch of hands suggest that there is still a part of you that feels a connection to him, despite the rift. It reflects the duality of your emotions—wanting to maintain a bond while also feeling hurt and rejected. Your leaning on him, followed by being pushed away, signifies the push-and-pull dynamic you feel in this relationship.
Exploring Identity and Growth: The conversation about mutual experiences, such as the education similarities and his family troubles, may symbolize a quest for understanding and connection. It seems to indicate a desire to explore deeper layers of both his and your identities, which may help you find closure in this chapter of your life.
Hope and Regret: The playful smile and the conversation at the end of the dream suggest that, despite past grievances, there is still a part of you that holds hope for a potential reconciliation or change. However, the recognition that things could have been different if he had taken you seriously highlights a sense of regret and lost opportunities.
In summary, your dream appears to be a complex blend of emotions—reflecting on your past feelings, the impact of unresolved conflicts, the desire for connection, and the hope for understanding and closure. It could be helpful to continue writing in your journal about these feelings, as it may aid you in processing them more fully and in moving on.
